Clinical Trial to Compare the Efficacy of Two Teletherapy Programs at Improving Psychological Health in People with Brain Injury – Copy

Indiana University School of Medicine is conducting a study to find out if a training program can help people with a concussion or mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) have better emotional health and well-being.

You may eligible if you:

  • Are 18 years or older.
  • Have had a concussion or mTBI at least 6 months ago (or longer).
  • Have access to a computer or tablet capable of videoconferencing.

What the study involves (all done virtually, e.g., videoconferencing):

  • 4 assessments (each ~30-60 minutes) with surveys on emotions and mood.
  • 8 one-on-one training sessions (each ~60-90 minutes).
  • Study participation will last ~8 months.

  • You will help contribute to knowledge needed to achieve better outcomes for people with a brain injury.
  • You will support the development of tools to achieve better mental health outcomes for people with a brain injury, including servicemembers and
